Chimney sweep logs do not sweep chimneys. They loosen some creosote - which then falls where a brush and vacuum still have to collect it.
Meet the Henderson Team Behind Flint Chimney Co Henderson
We’re a small crew, and we like it that way. Every technician who rolls up to a Henderson home is someone we’ve vetted personally, trained hands-on, and trusted to work around your family. No subcontractors, no day labor. The people below are the actual folks you’ll see on a sweep, inspection, or repair in Green Valley, Anthem, MacDonald Ranch, or anywhere else in the 89052 and surrounding zip codes. They work under one rule: if it’s not done right, we make it right, in writing, for a full year.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Mike R. – Lead Technician
Mike has been sweeping and repairing chimneys in the Las Vegas Valley for over a decade, and he’s seen just about everything a Henderson fireplace can throw at him. He holds CSIA certification and specializes in flue relining, which means replacing the inner liner that channels smoke safely out of the house. Mike handles the tougher structural jobs, the ones where a cracked flue tile or a rusted-out damper needs real surgery. Most days you’ll find him on a rooftop in Inspirada or McCullough Hills, camera in hand, documenting exactly what he sees before recommending anything. He’s a gearhead off the clock and will talk your ear off about his project Mustang if you give him half a chance.
Diane S. – Senior Installer
Diane leads our liner and repair installations, and she’s particular about materials in a way that serves Henderson homeowners well. She works with DuraFlex and HeatShield systems, plus components from Gelco, Olympia Chimney, Famco, and Copperfield, and she’ll tell you plainly why she’s choosing one over another for a given job. Diane came up through the Garrison Partners training program and has been with the family of companies since 2016. She keeps a written parts list on every job so nothing gets hidden. On weekends she’s hiking Sloan Canyon or baking bread from a sourdough starter she’s kept alive longer than some of our competitors have been in business.
Tony V. – Apprentice Technician
Tony joined Flint Chimney Co Henderson two years ago, and he’s the second set of hands on most residential sweeps and inspections. He’s working through the National Chimney Sweep Guild training modules and already handles dryer vent evaluations and basic damper work under supervision. Tony grew up in Henderson, graduated from Green Valley High, and knows the neighborhoods here the way only a local does. If you call about a fireplace in Whitney Ranch or Black Mountain, chances are he’s been on that street before, probably visiting a friend. He’s meticulous about clean drop cloths and shoe covers, which matters when you’re walking across someone’s living room carpet three times a day.
Rachel M. – Service Coordinator
Rachel is probably the first voice you’ll hear when you call (775) 375-4267. She works from our Henderson office, not a call center, and she’s the reason your written price gets sent before anyone shows up. Rachel schedules every job, walks you through what to expect, and keeps notes on your chimney’s history so we’re not asking the same questions twice next year. She’s been with Harrison Partners and now Flint Chimney for seven years and runs the 365-Day Done Right Promise paperwork on every repair, making sure the one-year guarantee is in your hand, in writing, before we leave. Rachel is direct and warm, the kind of person who answers when you call at 9 p.m. and actually knows what she’s talking about.
One Standard, Every Job
Hank Delano started Flint Chimney Co Henderson in 2002, and the rules haven’t changed since. Every repair gets a written guarantee valid for one full year from the service date. Every job gets a written price before any work begins, no exceptions. Every technician shows up background-checked and in uniform, so you know who you’re letting in. That’s The Garrison Standard, the operations playbook our whole family of independent chimney companies follows. The Garrison Code is simpler: do the job right, show the customer the proof, and stand behind the work. When Mike or Diane or Tony finds a problem, you’ll see it on camera before you approve a dollar of repair. If a covered repair fails within the guarantee period, we come back at no charge, no argument, no fine print. That promise isn’t a marketing line. It’s what our people are measured on every single day in Henderson.
